13 month screaming for fun.

Ear piercing screaming. Mostly in the mornings... He's not upset, just doing it for fun.
Any tips? It's cutting right through me, but I'm sure most will say it's a phase & will pass in time.

We had a little phase like this, it’s so unpleasant to listen to! Just don’t react, he’ll get bored soon enough and move on to something else 😅

He's found a new sound he can make and is enjoying making it. Mine went through the same phase. If you try and stop it, it will only prolong it, as horrendous as it is.

Mine did this too. It didn’t last long. He’ll find something else for you to worry about before long. I think escaping through the cat flap was next for my son, followed by climbing up onto the toilet cistern. Enjoy! Smile

Mine still randomly screams and she is 3.

Mine started it about that age because she noticed that in certain places noise causes an echo. Lockdown didn't help as places and streets echoed because they were empty. She couldn't verbalise why she was doing it until she was 2.

Then she got fascinated by shadows......

@Imabitbusyatthemoment Least he didn't offer you water from the toilet bowl like one of my nephews' kept doing.

(I keep my toilet seat down.)
