Breastfeeding apps

Hi,
I am due my second DC soon and planning to breastfeed again. First my first initially I often got confused how long/which breast she fed from etc. I started writing it down, but sometimes had the notepad in the wrong room etc.

I saw that now there are many apps out there, some free others not. Any recommendations? I am happy to pay a bit if it helps me track feeding cycles, potentially also sleeping and nappies?
I have an iphone and so far no pump yet but will potentially also get a pump in 2-3 months. Thanks

I have Baby+ app, it's free. You can track bf real time, add and edit manual entries etc. I like that it marks what was the starting breast too.
There are options to track pumping, nappy changes and naps.

I just offered both breasts every time. Saved having to remember sides. After a few days the were feeding whenever they wanted to so there was no need fot any tracking.

I suspect an app might be counter productive leading you to stress out if you forget to update it, or your phone isn't to hand when you need it or you think you're seeing patterns change that aren't really concerning.

Thanks @Dahlia5

@DappledThings not helpful. I was looking for an app not advice on breastfeeding.

I used Baby Tracker initially, but then switched to Huckleberry (just the free version) when I want to get on top of sleep a bit more, and actually found it much better for breastfeeding too as well as helpful for nap time suggestions. Definitely recommend it, and will be using it again when DC2 is born in December as I too could never keep track of which side I'd offered

We actually used WhatsApp and found it really good - just set up a group with DCs name as the title and me and my husband as the only people in it and I recorded when she fed, on what side, for how long, nappies, when she slept. Because everything is time stamped automatically when you send a message you can just put 'Started feed on left'. then 'finished' and you'll see from the time later.

The main thing was, when she was out walking in the pram with my husband and napping, he could record when she slept, when he changed nappies if they were wet/dirty, and then we used it to record her temp and when we gave her calpol - she had some health issues the first few weeks so people were constantly asking things like how many wet nappies does she have a day so it was great to have something definitive to refer to that meant we had both captured everything. And when bleary eyed and confused about when we'd given calpol/what her temp was knowing it was recorded and we had the definite time.

I faffed around with huckleberry and I know this was a more low tech solution but it worked much better practically.

I used the Huckleberry app. Very easy to use. Found it a lifesaver in the first few months

Not an app, but if you wear a wristband or bobble on the wrist of the side your baby finished feeding on, this should help you to remember which side to feed on first the next time your baby needs to feed

Baby arrived two days ago - I am using Huckleberry now, I like to track sleep/nappies and feeding too. Thanks all

Personally, I liked this app Baby Tracker – Feed, Nappy Log. This application is a kind of diary of the baby, which keeps in mind all the actions of the child. It combines Comprehensive Feedings Breastfeeding Logger, Nappy Change Tracker, Sleep Schedule, Growth Tracker, Milestone Logger, and Health Logger.

However, there are. some other good free apps for breastfeeding: androidappsforme.com/9-best-breastfeeding-apps-for-moms-android/

For the first few weeks I used a hairband. Put it on my right wrist when I fed from that boob, left when it was time to feed from that one.
I think an app would have stressed me out!
When feeding was established I just offered whichever.
