Hi all ,

So my son was with us at FIL Funeral , he’s 2 and 3 months and at the wake he fell over and hit his teeth on metal bar on one of the chairs , it was a smooth rounded metal bar , I’ve never seen him get upset like he did , and he bled , it was horrible , I was so upset as I only turned for 30 seconds .

I checked they wasn’t wobbly and they weren’t , but now 3 weeks later , they are slightly I mean a tiny bit very very pale grey/off white (not at all noticeable to anyone who wouldn’t know him) , they were brilliant white before .

I know it’s from the fall but I’m so worried are they gonna get darker , will it affect his adult teeth ?

Daft question but should I take to dentist , at his age I don’t even think he would sit there for a dentist - I’m so worried .

But I do just wanna say , to anyone else’s eye you wouldn’t know , but your own child you know the difference as i can see it more on the underneath/back of the front teeth so when he opens his mouth.

Any advise welcome 🙏🏼

A quick Google has the answer

But yes you need to get him to a dentist. Good luck in finding an NHS one. 😬

My dentist said to bring them in if after an injury the tooth is wobbly, moved or discoloured. That does sound discoloured so I think I'd book him an appointment
