Hi again! I'm sorry for all these post.

I was wondering if my 6 week old could have reflux, because he's not always burping. He more less has hiccups when he has an feed and sometimes he fight with the bottle when we give it to him and sometimes he brings up a little bit of a sick or sometimes he projected vomit it up, so
I was wondering if it was worth trying him on the reflux formula, if it is reflux. Because sometimes when I wind him he burps but it sound sicky and he has it in his mouth and swallows it.

Also when he cries now it's no longer an high pitch he sounds like he's losing his voice, and when he sleeps sometimes it sounds like he's snoring and making strange noises with his breathing as well

Hello, not sure about whether this is reflux, but when my 11 week old son sleeps he sometimes grunts and it sounds like snoring. I've just put it down to wind and sometimes pick him up if looks very uncomfortable. He also from time to time vomits up curdled milk moreso during day feeds. But never thought about reflux. Will keep an eye on your thread. Sorry I can't be of any help.

It could be, the sound of sick coming up and swallowing it back down is called 'silent reflux'. Reflux formula is just a bit thicker to help it stay down but its not a cure. Its really common in babies and usually kicks in around 6 weeks because their bodies haven't developed yet. We tipped DD mattress slightly to keep her elevated whilst sleeping, fed smaller amounts but more often and made sure she burped after every feed (this sometimes took up to an hour). We also got baby gaviscon which did the trick for us but it can make them constipated so be prepared for that if you use it.

Try and burp him more regularly in feeds, keep him up right for 20 mins after a feed.
I personally wouldn't go changing milk unless advised to do by dr. It can upset their tummy more.

Try some gripe water as it'll help any gas pain he has without burping
