AIBU- husband was unsupportive

First time poster, long time reader Grin
I have been feeling frustrated with my kids age 9&7 for not doing what I am asking them to do the first time but having to ask 6 or 7 times to put away shoes, pack their homework away pick up a toy etc. I appreciate that all kids are like this- but it is bloody frustrating.
The kids rooms have been a real tip and I spent my day off tidying them 2 days ago. Their rooms again are messy but nothing horrendous. They are young and I don't expect a lot i think. I ask for them to open their curtains everyday, put the dirty washing in the basket and make their beds. These are their daily jobs for their pocket money (£2 a week). This has all fallen by the wayside a bit.
So just after dinner this evening I said, before we all watch a bit of tv, can I ask that we get back to the normal jobs pls- (just as cited above)and we will make sure that we get back to the pocket money. As the kids were listening to me and agreed. I pointed out that if they don't do it then I need to do it for them and that I have a lot to do already. At which point my husband turned round and said, "you are ranting-stop talking now"
I said - no I am not ranting, pls listen to what I am saying and be supportive. He then said again - stop ranting it's boring we don't need to hear that. I wasn't even talking to him. I wasn't saying it with a stern / pissed off tone- just saying it. I just left the room and came upstairs and left them all to watch tv.

I am furious. He has come up 3 times, to try and defuse the situation. First time he came and said right huffy puffy- get over yourself. I told him calmly that he has completely undermined me, been completely unsupportive and ostracised me from my own living room. He was shocked and stormed off. Pretty much the same the 2nd time- but I ended up calling him an insufferable bastard. 3rd time he said he snapped because he is knackered and didn't want to listen to me. Raging as I can just hear my kids saying that to me if we are having a disagreement in the future.

YANBU- he is a total knob and should be supportive and encourage a positive atmosphere in the house.
YABU- it was completely warranted to say that.

I should also say-
Kids didn't hear us having the argument where I called him an insufferable bastard- they were downstairs with tv on. We were upstairs.

YANBU, and it sounds like he knows it

He's a total fucking arsehole. How dare he speak to you like that, and in front of your children. I would be furious.
