Help! 2 month old breastfed baby, will not take bottle!

Hello everyone.
I have a 2 month old. She's been breastfed only. I express the milk and when I'm out or someone is looking after her there is breast milk in a bottle. For some reason she will not take the bottle. She fuss's and cries until she gets my boob. What bottle is best?

Did she ever take a bottle?

You could try getting her to sip from a cup. That's what they did in NICU with my DS. Just a small plastic cup (not one of those sippy one) they used one more like a plastic shot glass and he drunk from that.

Otherwise the other thing they told me was that "a healthy baby will not starve itself" I. E. They give in eventually!!

How long are you out for? Go for at least two hours past their normal feed time. They tend to cry and fuss at first, but then when they get hungry enough they’ll take the bottle. After the initial rejection, they’ll settle in. So long as it’s properly stored (not spoilt) and warmed up to right temperature, they should adapt.

My son is breastfed and I am using a TT closer ho nature at the moment of giving him formula.

If it's expressed milk, I use medela bottles.

FYI you can’t cup feed a baby more than 25ml of formula or breast milk, over 25ml should be given in a bottle x
