Any idea what these spots on toddler could be?

Hi, my 2.2yo has come out in these spots overnight. They are on the back of his legs, around his anus, and he has a couple around his mouth.

He's fine in himself, eating and drinking, no temp. They seem to be itching. Would phone GP but had a text from them to say hardly any doctors in today and they will only deal with emergencies.

Any idea what they could be, and what creams I can use? He has had eczema in the past so I have lots of emollients and a steroid to hand. Thanks

Hand foot and mouth?

There's nothing on his hands or feet, and he has no other symptoms. Unless we are at the very start of it?

Hand foot and mouth.
DS had it, was all over his body. Tepid baths with a sock stuffed with oats and the milk squeezed out, gentle, soft food (he had sores in his mouth) and calpol.

I also came to say hand foot and mouth, but then they usually have a temperature with that.
Could it be bed bugs?

Fleas?

Hand foot and mouth. Both ds's had it, but never had spots on hands, feet or mouth. It started on crooks of elbows, backs of knees and shoulders.

There seems to be new ones popping up every 5 minutes. Took him to pharmacist who thinks it's the early stages of chickenpox. He's been given a cream, piriton, and to see how it develops over the next day.

Just called his nursery and there's been a confirmed HFM case in his room so could be that.

That looks very HFM. Chicken pox spots are larger, distinct, liquid filled blisters. HFM present as much small, rashy blisters. And can often not be on the hands or feet! Can be all over the body, particularly the bum according to our GP!
