If you have done it what are you thoughts (honest) on it?
Worth it?

What did you find the hardest part?
Pregnancy with toddler?
Newborn stage?

Tell me alllll about it please!!!

@Chelyanne
Oh no what an ordeal! Glad you are both ok now. And wow a 4.96kg baby girl that's amazing! Congratulations 🎊

I see what you mean about the age gap but still wanting another...

Yes! Mine are 18 months apart and it’s fantastic. Hardest stage for me was probably when the baby learnt to crawl and the toddler learnt to sprint 😂
But more fun than difficult and I. Really enjoying seeing them grow together.

Oh and mine both get plenty of attention and aren’t expected to always want to play the same thing.

15 month age gap and I echo a lot of the previous posters.

It was really hard, and the first 18 months of DC2s life is a complete blur. I look back at photos others took (not me, looking back I had PND and took no photos as everything felt too hard and miserable) and have zero memory of those times.

I was in my 30s so didn't feel I had the luxury of being able to choose a bigger gap.

Now they are 3 and 4 and both at pre-school and suddenly everything is much easier. They are the same sex and both fit age 3-4 clothes with DC1 just starting to need age 4-5 in T-shirts and leggings.

They both like playing with the same sort of toys and can play together as friends when they want to. They also fight horrifically but it's pretty evenly matched Grin.

They are both out of nappies now, can use the toilet independently, can play pretty independently with a parent keeping an eye out and are at the stage where the eldest can e.g go and independently get themselves and sibling a beaker of water rather than asking parents for everything.

They really are little partners in crime.

I feel that we are heading into a really nice stage now for a few years and I'm glad that they will be doing it together at the same time.
