Anyone swapped pull-ups for washables at toddler stage?

Been wanting to do washables for embarrassingly long now and now that DD is nearly 2.5 and only wees at night I'm seriously considering it. I figure we have at least another year of nappies at night so it's worth it still. Have been looking at pocket nappies - Wonderoos and another kind (can't remember the name)as they are so similar to her pullups, I don't think I'll get her lying down again for a 2-part system. Wondering if anyone has achieved the same switch at this late stage. She uses the loo during the day and often wants a wee between bath & bad, so it would be preferable if the nappy came off with ease for this.

Any of your thoughts/experiences on this appreciated.

PS she usually has a pretty full disposable come morning, so tips on absorbent stuffables welcome. I have loads of old muslins from BF days, are these any good? Or should I go for bamboo etc inserts? I don't want to spend a fortune that's all.

We used washable nappies on our ds2 who is 2.5. He has recently trained and so we now only use them at night. I have been using up all our pocket nappies with the intention that when he outgrows them we will buy a couple of pairs of Motherease Bedwetter Pants. I usually use Minki pockets which are great at nights but occasionally I put him in either fuzzi bunz or pocket bots. The problem I currently have, however, is that he frequently wakes in the early morning and asks for the toilet and then I still have to lie him down to put them back on when he has finished and wants to go back to bed. I recently looked at Minki Yoyos as an alternative as I thought that they would be good because they claim to pull up and down or are able to be removed using the poppers down the sides but have decided now to go with the bedwetter pants because of the weight and size limits. Either might be a good option for you though. HTH

U have done this a few months ago for my (then) 2.5 and 3.5 yr old for night times. Works a treat, economical and worth it in the long run (cost wise) and the boys got to pick their own designs, which they loved.

Thanks Mums!

I read that the Minki yoyos are so slimline that they won't hold enough for nighttime. DD has a bit of a cup of water by the bed habit, which I'm sure doesn't help, but I don't know how to stop as she fixates on rituals like crazy....
Do the Bedwetter pants take ages to dry? I do have a tumble dryer but won't have enough nappies on the go to justify it.

Just find the sheer variety of nappies out there so bewildering which is OK if you have a newborn as you can just by lots of different ones and try them. But the pocket nappies are all between £9 - £15 so like a months supply of disposables each. I only want to buy around 6. Anyone know of a good second hand nappy selling website? I see Nappy Lady has stopped this area of their site as it was being abused.

So a few more questions....
