Can I feed my newborn too much?

My 3 week old daughter is currently having 120ml formula (tried breastfeeding but couldn't) every 3/4 hours - is this too much? She's 7lb 4oz currently.

Sounds about right to me, but you feed on demand anyway regardless of formula or breast anyway so don’t worry about it! And enjoy your baby ☺️

Why would it be too much?
I wouldn't restrict food for a newborn. As long as you aren't forcing her to finish a bottle then you feed to her appetite.

Unless they’re being sick after you’re probably ok

Because she was on a feeding plan when she was 4 days old and it was 50ml every 3 hours so seems to have increased alot. Which is the reason I was asking

If she wants it and is taking it then you feed to appetite. 50mls is hardly anything and as they get bigger they need more. Mine fed every 2-2½ hours to start with and didnt get to 4 hourly feeds until around 4 months old

I dont see anything wrong with the way I responded. Tone can be taken the wrong way online; I wasn't being snarky
