When did you child move to 2 wheeled scooter?

Hey!
Just wondering when your child went from a 3 wheeled scooter to a 2 wheeler? My daughter is 5.5. She has ridden the 3 wheeler with confidence since she was 3 and learned to ride a bike without stabilisers at 4. However, she is generally really cautious before trying new physically challenging things. She would still hold my hand on a balance beam at the park, for example. Anyway, for her 6th birthday we were thinking of getting her a 2 wheeler one but saw on the micro scooter website they were recommended as 8+. What do you think?

DS1 got one for his fourth birthday but he never had a three wheel one. He just went really slowly at first.

She got a folding Micro Sprite for her 5th birthday. She took to it quickly. I think it was because she could ride a bike so had mastered balance. She is much faster on it than she was on 3 wheels.

She also got a stunt scooter the following Christmas which is a bit heavier so harder to handle - she only uses it at the skate park.

DS got a smaller sized micro scooter for his fourth birthday. It looked exactly the same as the 8+ ones, just smaller.

DS was already riding a balance bike and pedal bike so balance wasn't an issue.

These are for 5+. I think it's more that 8+ scooters are aimed at that height range, if she is tall for her age she may be fine.
