DS won’t sleep due to awful heat

DS won’t sleep tonight - I think because it’s so disgustingly hot in his room (29C!)

I’ve had to get him up and put him in the garden to get some cooler air. But his bedtime was meant to be 7.15 and he’s now been up 6.5 hours!!! Scared he’s going to get massively overtired. WWYD?

I live in the US and we had lots of stinky hot nights when the dc were little. The damp towel thing works really well. The fan and heat evaporate the dampness in a couple.of hours and by that time they have cooled down and are asleep. If you prefer, just use one damp towel over the top and their usual sheet underneath

Put him to bed in the coolest room in your house - eg a downstairs room that doesnt get a lot of sun. Im sleeping in our lounge this evening.
