Weaning and so confused!!

Will try to be as brief as possible but include everything relevant.

Currently weaning DS2 (almost 6months) and have been for a couple weeks due to severe reflux (wasn't keeping the milk down hardly) and milk allergy.
Needless to say, adding some solids and mixing his milk in has helped a lot in keeping the milk down but he's not drinking a lot in my mind.
Before weaning he was drinking 28oz through the day but then he'd bring quite a bit back up so never really sure how much he actually had.
For the first week and a bit he was having 2 meals one around 11ish and one at night (which actually helped him sleep without needing to be help upright for ages!) Plus 28oz which he'd have no problem and only bought up the morning feeds, so was told to try some porridge in mornings to help keep it down then, whixh has helped.
Hes now on 3 small ish meals But now taking barely the minimum 20oz I've been advised he should be getting (I can just get it down him). Yet health visitor has said its between 500ml-600ml which is 17-20oz.
He's only a teeny tiny guy with his weight (very long though) and I worry I'm doing the wrong thing. But he just wont keep the milk down if I stop the solids (tried to cut back).
I'm so confused at all this.
Is he getting enough in everyone else's view?
Is there anything I can try solid wise that will help weight gain and higher calories etc?
Or could it be unrelated to weaning and be teething (his front ones look like they cut through any day)?
Any advice would be a massive help!
Didn't have this with DS1 he was a milk monster and loved all solids. Confused

Is he otherwise happy and thriving? If yes then don't worry too much, his milk intake will reduce slightly because he's eating food. If you are at all worried mix some of his milk into his food so he gets it that way, so milky porridge for example or in mashed potato

@Harpydragon
Thank you for your reply. Grin
He is a happy little soul, his weight gain isn't the best but he isn't loosing any now at least.
I'm just a worrier I think.
