Embrassing nappy problem :(

Need advice.
I have been using washable for about 3 weeks now (since had to stop in hospital) and noticed when I did last wash that nappies and wrap still smell, very slightly of urine
I have been washing on 40 and used one tablet (as told to use 1 tablet)
Am I doing something wrong?? Do need to strip wash? (no idea how to do that?!)

Sorry, still fairly new to this. I proberly should say that nappies have all come 2nd hand.

A few things that might be worth trying (have not read whole thread so sorry if repeating advice).
White vinegar/ tea tree/ lavender oil in conditioner drawer. Have managed to get hold of the white vinegar in my local surpemarket (though it is a massive superstore!)
Hang outside whenever you can, even if it is really cold and they are out all day (if that's do-able for the amount of nappies you have). I find it's better to have a few more nappies and do it this way. They usually smell pretty good if drying outside. This also bleaches out stains.
I tend to wash at 60 but stick my wraps in with my clothes at 40 - unless for some reason they have become really soiled. Some wraps are fine at 60 (though obviously check label), but I would rather wash them at 40 as this reduces wear and tear.
Also, I have been told that to wash them straight away at a high temp 'sets' stains/smells into nappies, and so it's best to put a quick rinse cycle on before doing the wash. I sometimes do this, especially if there are a lot of soiled nappies in there.

Just for the really slow/baby brained amongst us how much of this stuff do you use? I'm having really bad problems with the nappies reaking of urine if it's a hot room.
I use soapnuts sometimes or only a tiny amount of powder, have taken to doing a cold rinse first and it wont go away.
Was thinking about a strip wash but don't know how to. How much white vinegar /baking soda do you use? DO you use soap to start with too?
Thanks

zoflora disinfectant does it here- a capful in the final rinse (fab cond drawer) all our nappies come out smelling of flowers and i know that they are hygenically clean so i can wash them at 30 without having to worry!

Don't wash wraps at 90.

Breadsoda, I use abut half a teacup-ish
Vinegar, a girl on an Irish site told me to use a "glug" By my reckoning a "glug" is about 60ml. I am a bit obsessive about measurements!

Thanks (might measure my 'glug' tomorrow!)
