Is my baby getting enough? Should I wake her? (Confused first time mum)

She has had 4 6oz bottles today but she’s started sleeping through the night. Would you wake her for her fifth bottle? Is 4 6oz bottles enough for a 24 hour period? She’s 4 months and a healthy weight. Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert but I'm sure she'll wake if she's hungry. My LO was sleeping well at that stage so I'd say it's a good sign their tummy's are full.

Thats really good for babys age. They are meant to drink 22-26oz in a 24hr period at that age my HV and allergy nurse told me. If babys is drinking 24oz in 24 hours thats great and sleeping through the night is amazing!

Thanks. It’s difficult to know what to do for the best.

Never wake a sleeping baby!! So long as they’re growing well then enjoy the sleep.

After they are a few weeks old you don't need to wake up. I did use to do a dream feed at 10pm to help sleep through the night but I was breastfeeding so not sure if you need to do that with bottles.

I wouldn’t wake her, but can you fit in more daytime feeds? My almost 4 month old feeds 6x a day, 7am, 11am, 2pm,5pm, 7pm and 10pm. She has a massive appetite though -34oz average per day but she’s just a chunk!
