How soon after solid food does your baby bath

So my eldest always ate at 5, bath at 6, bottle at 7 no problem. My youngest this wk has thrown up all her dinner after her bottle twice- always on-bath nights. I tried tonight to let her food digest, keep her seated after bath but nope all came up again. Do I need to bath her in the mornings?

Mine are adults now but we always bathed them after their tea. Didn't have any issues.
Are you sure it isn't a bug or something unrelated ?

I mean, if it works for you to bath them in the morning, then crack on, but it isn't generally a great time for most families trying to rush to get out of the house in the mornings, and we always found the routine of bath, bottle (when still having one), story, sleep to work quite well.

We always did routine baths midday. Dd hated them so we timed them for least disruption.

Every child is different. The schedule that works for one child could be a disaster for another. Just do what works for your family and don’t worry about it.

How old is she? Is she possibly eating too much? Mine have never been sick after eating (bar one Christmas when dd ate too much chocolate). We always went straight up to bath right after dinner. Dinner around 6:30-7 and then bath straight after a couple minutes later.

I would assume it was a coincidence as I can't imagine how a bath would result in vomiting. We didn't do daily baths tbh: I never saw the point of them, and she was prone to eczema so they just dry the skin out. How old is she, and how long has she been weaning? Did you try any new foods, did she gulp down the bottle any faster? I would be more inclined to think it was another factor than the bath tbh. We would always have breastfed after a bath and never noticed any difference on bath or non-bath nights. Usually bath was immediately after dinner too. I think its its only happened two times I would assume the bath was the cause.

thank you for the responses- little one is 8 months, been weaned since just over 6 months. Doesn’t bath every night: 2 -3 times a wk- I thought maybe the first time she was over fed so the second bath night I was conscious not to stuff her, let her sit for while and still all came up - the non bath nights in between no puking.
She’s mixed fed so maybe on bath nights just a breastfeed after dinner.

Are you giving her solids, boob then a bath?
If so then it does sound like she is maybe over full. Could you breastfeed her after the bath?
I've always given my 2yo a bath straight after and never had vomiting

So dinner around 5, then bath 6pm then usually a bottle straight after as she’s usually crying for one. I think I need to play with the schedule post bath, stick to boobZ She’s far more animated in the bath than my eldest, she kicks and splashes- maybe making herself sick before she’s digested the food?

Bath her first. Put a huge bib on her and feed her after the bath?
