4 year old eating and sleeping

My 4 year old goes to nursery every day and I generally wake her just before 8. She has always been a nightmare to go to sleep but now she won’t go until 9.30/10. I put her in her own room at 8 but she continually ping pongs out of her own room. Was looking for some tips. Even when she does swimming or gymnastics it doesn’t effect her sleeping patterns except she tends to sleep more deeply and not come into our room.

The other thing is she’s a healthy weight but she won’t eat dinner. She barely eats breakfast or lunch but will have milk. She tends to graze but I try not to give her too many snacks. She’ll moan she’s hungry at bed so I’ll give her a slice of bread. I’m hoping school dinners will make a difference.

Try getting her up earlier in the morning. 3 to 5 year olds need between 10 and 13 hours sleep. If she is going to sleep later than you want but isn’t tired during the day then you need to get her up earlier in the morning.
