Will I need a double buggy?

Just looking for advice from people with the same age gap between siblings I'll have.

I have 2.5 year old, he will be 3 in December. And I have a little girl due middle of August. Is it worth getting a double buggy or shall I not bother?

Jack only uses his stroller if I need to get him to nursery fast or if it's more convenient for me for him to be in his stroller, he'd happy walk anywhere.

I've got the new baby a pram, I don't know wether to just get a buggy board for Jack? Double buggy's are sooooo expensive and they're huge I dont wanna get one if it won't get used and I'm struggling to find one that will be small enough for a newborn but big enough for a nearly 3 year old.

Advice?

No you will only use it a handful of times if at all once the baby comes along your eldest one will be much more mobile. I had one as the age gap was only 13 months and DS unstrapped himself and walked frequently at every opportunity (he didn’t want to be a baby when DD came along). I finished up with a boogie board and didn’t use that too often either.

Buggy board not boogie board lol

There is almost exactly 2 years between dd1 and dd2 and we used a buggy board for dd1. It was great! I had to get a double when dd3 came along because dd2 is disabled, and the single with buggy board was so much easier to push than the double!

Three years between my two. DS would either use buggy board, scooter and a bit of running. However had it been the other way around I would have had to have got a double buggy! My DD is a lazy so and so! HmmSmile

I have exactly the same age gap and my daughter is also 3 in December!! I'm due in September!! My mum gifted us a double buggy but its a hauk duett 2 so toddler seat clips off and turns into a single. I don't drive and we walk long distances and my little girl gets tired so for us it's a necessity at this point xxx
