It
Thanks @Fitforforty, its intermittent. She just gets so upset especially when it's nearly nap time. I can now see the two little incisors coning through at the front. But her molars look white and irrated too poor thing. Do you know how I can upload a pipic.xx

Have you given her any pain relief? Nurofen is better than calpol. When she gets to 5 months you can use anbesol liquid too.

If in doubt speak to a doctor as ear infections and teething have similar symptoms.

To upload a phot you need to click on the paper clip icon. If you have just joined MN you won’t be allowed to upload photos yet.

Sounds pretty normal. Ibuprofen is better for teething IMO, and you can piggy back calpol and ibuprofen if needed.

The teeth don't always come in the expected order, some babies get them early.
Is the gum red? Does it feel sharp and hard when you touch it?

MummyofBaby · 17/06/2021 18:15

Molars are the most painful/uncomfortable ones to come through out of all of them for a little one. Any teeth can start coming through at any time so no set order or time. You can try a pacifier, teether or teething gel. Fever comes and goes and is accompanied by teething so you don’t necessarily have to give anything for it unless fever is persistent, very high or after trying all else crying hasn’t stopped.

Hi sorry for the delay its finally allowed me to upload the pic! So the 2 front bottom incisors are coming through (you can't see in the pic) but why is that back gum all white and inflamed? Is that a molar coming in? Really appreciate any thoughts!! Thank you

Yeah definitely but they can still take weeks and weeks to come through. Teeth can be a pick stop start.

Jumperoo222 · 19/06/2021 16:18

Gosh I guess thats why she's so upset poor little thing. She's only 4 months! The best thing I can do that seems to be distration...whixh is super exhausted but better than a crying baby! Wondering if my baby will wake up with a full set of teeth tomorrow!Grin
Thanks @Peach01 @Fitforforty @MummyofBaby and @idontlikealdi for taking the time to reply to my post!

Hi guys just wondered if any more advice for teething. My poor baby has the incisors, front teeth and what looks like a molar coming in. She's only 4 months so not very dexterous with her hands. She's understandably very cranky and it's horrible.to see. I feel like it's been going on forever
I tried to get a docs appointment just to verify there is no other issue but the next one is in a week. My intuition is telling me it's just teething but it's still worrying me.when will it end 😪

Hi, some things that helped my DD:
-Calpol
-Ashton & Palmers teething gel (can be used at 4 months)
-Teething toys (the ones with liquid inside) but put in the fridge beforehand
-A cold teaspoon to suck on
-home made ice lollies, at four months you could just make these out of her milk
