Help with bed wetting

My nearly 6yr old DD still wears a pull up at night. In the last few months it seems the pull up can't contain the volume of wee at night. Most mornings the sheets and her PJs are soaked. Her last drinks are at 5pm and she does two wees before bedtime. She wears dry nites pull ups.
My problem is that we're going camping soon and I won't be able to get her sleeping bag washed and dried during the day.
Has anyone any advice? Is there another brand of pull up I could try?

Thanks @Ellieboolou33 do you use the pants or the pads? I don't think I can use the pads with a sleeping bag but I will give them a go on her bed.

Thanks for posting OP as we are in a similar boat. DD doesn’t flood the pull ups but there is some leakage.
What time does she go to bed? Have you spoken to your GP because I would think with last drinks at 5pm then 2 toilet trips the pull up should not be flooding the way you describe.
My DD often doesn’t drink enough at school/in the day so needs a drink after 5pm and often wants to take water to bed with her which I think is the main cause. If she stays up and has a wee at 8-8.30 ish she’s generally dry overnight. So I think when we are camping we will get her to stay up later so she can have that last toilet trip before bed.

I get the sheets (I got 4) and don't put any pads as the sheets soak all the wee, my dd was 6 going on 7 and couldn't fit in pads/pull ups You just lay the sheet over the bed and change if for a new one, it made her feel more confident and stopped bed wetting within a few weeks, I still use them as she feels safe when they are on x

@Wigglegiggle0520 - I haven't spoken with the GP as I read that some children just take longer to be dry at night and I'm trying not to make a thing out of it. But I do wonder where it is all coming from.... She might have a little sip of water brushing her teeth but that's it, and she does a decent wee just before bedtime.
I'm thinking of perhaps waking her and bringing her to the toilet when I go to bed but our bathroom is downstairs and it would be quite disruptive. Maybe I'll try a potty in her bedroom.
She does stay up much later than normal when we camp so that in might help. But she will probably eat later too, which means drinking later....
I'm happy to wait out the night time wetting under normal circumstances, but camping is going to be a real problem. I've ordered the Abena pads linked above, fingers crossed they can absorb it all....

@Ellieboolou33 - thank you, I'll give those sheets a try.

It sounds as though she is not yet producing the hormone ADH yet at night. This is antidiuretic hormone, and there is huge variation in the age at which children start to produce it.

It conserves water at night time (stops it being used to make urine), so without it, large amounts of urine will be produced. Don’t worry, at 6 years old, there is really no cause for concern. You will probably find that she suddenly becomes dry in the next couple of years. It happened really suddenly for my son.

If she gets to the age where she is going for sleepovers or Brownie camps etc, you may be able to ask the GDP for synthetic ADH tabs. Taken before bedtime (no water for at least an hour before), they dissolve under the tongue and stop wetting. We used them for a short time for Cub camps etc.

@BakedBeansBang - yes I had assumed she just wasn't producing the hormone yet. Recently we have very wet sheets and PJs most mornings despite us limiting liquids before bed time and her having a few wees before bed. It's tedious but manageable and I know it will pass.

I'm wondering though if anybody has any tips on how we can manage this when we are camping, as I won't be able to wash and dry a sleeping bag daily. I've ordered a few of the products recommended by posters on this thread so I'll report back when we return.
