Mimos baby pillow - are they any good?

My 3 months old has developed a flat spot on his left side. Is the mimos any good, quite pricey for what it is, but does it do the job? Unlike other pillows that only advertise prevention, this one says that it actually corrects flat head?

I've not used the product so cannot comment on how effective it is, but baby should have an empty cot/crib for sleeps so I wouldnt use it for sleeping. Possible it may be useable during daytime when they lie down, as I'm there watching, but then that doesnt seem like enough time to make a difference.

I don’t think pillows are safe for sleep. All the advice says that the baby should be in an empty cot. Pillows are a suffocation and SIDS risk.

A flat head should resolve by itself in time. Make sure your baby is getting loads of tummy time during the day, and try to keep him in a range of positions using the sling etc. You can also try changing which end of the cot his feet are at so that if he usually faces one way, he’s changing which side of his head he’s lying on.

I got one for DD as her head was flat at the back from birth - it didn't make any difference for us though, maybe we started it too late. I never even notice her flat spot now she has hair though.

We are using one of these. I don't use it in the cot because I'm scared of the suffocation risk - although you can mitigate this somewhat by putting the pillow under the fitted sheet. I use it in the Moses basket which I have for DS's daytime naps (the pillow actually fits perfectly in the Moses I think it is designed for Moses baskets - it doesn't move) and will be in whatever room I am in at the time so he is never unattended.

The paediatrician we saw recommended the pillow. I think it has improved his flat head but it's difficult to say whether it's the pillow or the fact that at night I keep turning his head to the other side when he's asleep.

My first developed a flat head. I bought him a sleep curve mattress for his crib as didn't want him to have a pillow overnight. The mattress definitely helped in my opinion. I also had a little heart shaped pillow for mat time/pram.
