Swimming - beginner at 5 years old

My daughter is 5.5 years old. She has only ever had a couple of swimming lessons due to a) ear infections/vents in her toddler years and b) pandemic shutting pools when we had just started. She is therefore pretty much a complete beginner.

We are due to visit family in Devon in the summer and there is an outdoor pool. What (if any) floatation aids would be best to help her enjoy the pool without feeling self conscious (giant armbands) but most importantly be safe??

Thanks!

I would get her a swimming vest like these https://www.sportsdirect.com/slazenger-float-vest-childs-887068?google&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwanNq388AIVU5nVCh3omATTEAQYBCABEgJaCCDBwE#colcode=88706818

DD had one when she was 5 and loved it.

A noodle. Put it under her armpits for normal swimming. Sit on it with one end coming up behind her the other in front of her to hold on to and ride kind of like a horse. Put it under her upper back/shoulders for swimming on her back.

Swim fins are great and also really good for learning to swim:
