1am...after 2 hours of rocking/shhhh-ing, picking up, putting back down, bum pats etc 6m old teething DS is finally back asleep. Ewan the Sheep is playing. I climb into bed and close my eyes and am just drifting off...

And then Ewan’s batteries die 😐😓😐

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

@Fivemoreminutes1 Oh my I remember those days... DD still has her Ewan on at 14 months. I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant and I regularly have sudden panic attacks about the sleepless nights.. I had a meltdown the other day trying to get DD some lunch whilst she was pulling the house down, then I thought SHIT how am I gonna do this with a newborn as well? Haha!! 😂

@KM38 sorry meant to tag you in that post!!

Lol, get a plug in white noise machine that stays on all night, they're under £20 on amazon etc.

KM38 · 19/05/2021 14:09

@MyGrassIsBrowner Oh dear! 🤣🤣 I’m sure you’ll absolutely boss it with 2 ❤️ But I sure I’d be having the panic too 🤣

@Orangeinmybluelightcup Selfishly, I like that Ewan goes off because I can’t sleep with the white nose at all 😅🤣 once DS is down to sleep, Ewan plays right through once. Then I go to sleep lol. And if DS stirs in the night then Ewan kicks in and soothe him back to sleep lol. I couldn’t deal with it being on all night!

@KM38 Awh thank you! 💖 It's slightly nerve wracking to say the least but I'm sure it'll all be fine haha!
Honestly the best feeling is when they start sleeping through, it's blissful! X

I stepped onto a busy underground train. DS (aged 5) didn’t. But I didn’t realise until the doors where shut and we started moving. Thankfully, I had told him time and again that if he looses me, to stay where he is and I’ll retrace my steps. So I got off at the next station and (after an agonising wait) caught the tube back. When I got back, he was there, but was on the other side of the platform and I had to run up to street level and down again the other side. I was more distraught than him!

Oh @Fivemoreminutes1 I can only imagine the wait at that station 😳😓 thank goodness you had taught him so well and that he had paid attention 😳
