I'm new here just need some suggestions.

I have a 5 month old and because of lockdown we haven't really been out. With restrictions lifting etc what can I do with him?

I have a 6 month old and we're doing...

  • Swimming
  • Baby sensory class
  • Walks in the pram rather than carry cot so she can see the world a bit!
  • Park in the baby swing with a bit of bolstering with blankets.
  • lunches and coffee dates with friends where she can now sit in highchair with some toys.

I have a 22 month old also, so we do go soft play but DD2 isn't sitting yet so she can't really get involved with that. I love 6 months+ where they start to get a bit more interested in the world!

Hi, I also have a five month old.

We have a walk every day, even if it’s raining.

Read books

Time on the playmat / rocker.

He also goes to baby signing, swimming and a music class. I also do a twice weekly exercise class which is more for me than him but is a fun trip!

When mine was that age, we mostly went for walks at the beach and had a coffee/browsed in charity shops, went for lunch or met up with friends, or messed about at home.

I’m following this as I also have a 5 month old and sometimes feel there’s not much to do with her at this stage and wonder if we’re better waiting till she’s older.

We always go walks in the pram and have started trying to go to slightly busier places like near play parks and things and I take her out to have a look so that she can see/hear children play.

Are there any local buggy walks?

We’re also going to take DD swimming and just visiting family more so that people can hold her and she gets used to other people.
