Hey beautiful mums out there ! My daughter is about to turn 14 months old. She learnt to climb down from the bed on her own a few days back and did it 3/4 times. She no longer climbs down the bed on her own and relies on us to get down. Is it normal for a toddler to do so? I thought that like crawling or walking, she will be climbing down from bed once she learns how to do so but she has stopped doing it.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Perfectly normal IME. Once my DD has mastered something and the novelty wears off she'll often go back to letting us lift/carry/help as it's easier for her. Doesnt meant she can't do it if we weren't there to help but some things she'd rather let us do for her 🤷
