Has girls' brigade become "woke"?

Hi!
I went to Girls Brigade as a child and really enjoyed it, and was wondering if I might send my own daughter there one day.
I was just wondering if anyone knows what the overall ambience is there nowadays? Does it still have a strong Christian focus? I fear it may have gone the way of the world and cares more about identity politics and virtue signalling than giving girls a fun, wholesome environment to build faith and friendships in. But I don't know, I'm just speculating. Does anyone else send their girls to Girls Brigade? Has the teaching managed to resist the ideological/political bent of other organisations? Thanks!

@serenissima123 I have been a GB member since I was 5 years old and I am now a leader. There is still a Christian focus as all the badgework the girls complete are based on the Bible, although how the badgework is completed has changed since I was a girl.

Before lockdown my explorer section (now called n:vestigate) did the badgework Celebrating where we looked at why we celebrate, how we celebrate, when we celebrate e.g birthdays and religious holidays and how different people celebrate differently.

I hope this helps.

I think it has probably remained more true to its original focus than some organisations. Our group has just left though due to the very onerous training requirements for leaders, not for theological differences. The leaders of our independent club will still have training on safeguarding, first aid, working with children etc but won't be called GB or affiliated to them any more. The girls weren't into badge work particularly, they will still have a balanced program of spiritual, craft, music and physical activity. If you can't find a GB, there might be a church club locally that would suit.
