Eczema on 3yr old

My son has got an eczema rash/ spots on his neck (round where his T-shirt sits on his neck) and armpits. Sometimes the back of his knees too and the cheeks on his face.

I have tried avenno, bathing him in oats,100% coconut oil....
Running out of things to try. Don't use fabric softener and only use fairy non bio.

If it's best to see a doctor for advice I'm happy to do so, but as it's not bleeding or too serious at the moment I wanted to see if anything else would work.

My son has mild eczema flare ups and I found bio oil dry skin gel works really well and clears it right up. 4.99 from boots and lasts ages as you only need a bit!
I've spent loads on creams lotions and potions and this is the only one that works! And its cheap so deffo worth a try 🙂

I've tried all sorts but the one I always go back to is Epaderm. For us, if I don't use it for a day or two the eczema is back. I think you can buy a small pot in boots.

It might not wok but you could try dream cream from lush. If you can get to a store (and don’t mind the scent and enthusiastic sales assistants) and have a chat to someone they could give you a sample to try. It’s very mild and made for sensitive skin/eczema

Your son's sounds similar to my daughter. She has several items on repeat prescription but I think they're all available over the counter.
Before a bath she gets smothered head to toe in hydromol, which is a bit like vaseline.
This acts as a moisturiser and cleaner. No soap or detergent of any kind in the bath.
Only thing that's tolerated is Crayola bath colour drops.
Then after the bath a quick run everywhere of aveeno. (I skip this step when her skin is clear). Then a dab of hydrocortisone cream on any flare ups which tends to clear them up in a few days if its applied daily.
She also has cetirizine (an antihistamine liquid) for before bed as she's prone to scratching any sore bits in the night and making them worse. Kéeping nails as short as poss also helps with this.
In your position I'd speak to the pharmacist with your son present, maybe try some items and then if it's no better you can contact Dr and say you've tried pharmacist so this is the next step, it's completely reasonable to see the GP for eczema, it can make the little ones really uncomfortable

Child's Farm seems to be a very successful and low cost option.

We had a similar problem, same areas. I started using oilatum junior bath and oilatum junior cream at least twice a day and it's cleared up almost completely. I tried so many others before and it's been the best by a mile. When he's got a cold and has a little flare up I've got hydrocortisone cream the doctor prescribed but only to be used sparingly and very occasionally, works amazingly well for us.

My son is 6 and still has terrible excma but we found wearing gloves to bed really helped as he always scratches in the night. Also sudacrem where the rashes occur

I second child’s farm! All the steroid creams and prescription stuff did nothing for my daughters eczema, it was all over her but would bleed around her neck and this stuff literally cleared it all up in a couple of days! We put it on every day and if I ever miss a day the eczema comes back. It’s honestly the best stuff ever

I take immunosuppressants because of my eczema. I’ve had to use bandages and all sorts.

Best thing that works for me is an ointment called 50/50. It’s really greasy. I have to slather it on, cover in a bandage and repeat till it’s gone. Put old clothes on over the bandages.

Maybe was him in hydromol. That’s another ointment. If it gets worse see what a GP will say.
