DS still not sitting upright in pram?

My DS still faces me and sits in the semi reclined mode in his pram (kind of halfway between fully upright and totally reclined). The thing is, he’s 13 months! Should I really be turning him to face outwards and sitting him fully upright by now? I kept him in semi reclined position because I thought it might be more comfortable than sitting bolt upright!

Parent facing for as long as possible is great so you can chat.

If he's happy I don't think it matters? Some kids start to protest it by that point, hence the need to turn them around.

My DS is 18 months, depending on what we are going he generally faces me so we can chat- he's not often sat up right usually the one down from it as it looks more comfy to me. Do what works for you. I've heard parents say they forward face as their child is interested in the world, I don't think walking to the local shop is interesting (a lane walk and speeding cars) so we chat and I point out things to him. If we are visiting somewhere he forward Faces and enjoys the views. (I hope)

I kept mine facing me until they were hanging their heads out trying to see where we were going. I liked looking at them and chatting to them. And a semi recline is fine. You can always try the upright and see how he does. If he’s not that comfortable he’ll probably slump down a bit. So then you know to stick with the setting you’re on.

Facing you is fine - good for chatting, we didn't turn DD till she was 2. He might like to sit upright unless he's sleepy.
