My DD is 10 months and has 2 bottles of 6oz a day, eats 3 meals, snacks and drinks water. I also have vitamins for her. When did you stop?

When we replaced it with cow's milk at one. They're both big milk drinkers still and it's the first and last thing that they have every day.

About 2 days before DS turned 1. I'd finished the last of the formula and it didn't seem worth buying any more for the sake of 2 days. He switched straight onto cows milk and has been fine drinking it ever since.

We went on holiday two weeks before DTs first birthday and switch to cow's milk when we went. Switched straight over, no issues at all. They had been having cows milk on their cereal for a few weeks before that.

Once they turned one we switched to cows milk. We had some formula left in the tin so just used that for bedtime bottles til it ran out.

NHS advices no snacks until after 12 months as breast milk or formula should be the main source of nutrition until then.

DD1 stopped formula at 11 months under the guidance of a paediatric dietitian. DD2 only had formula until about 6-8 weeks when we moved exclusively to breast milk.

Pretty hard to do when you have a baby who will only have a morning and bedtime bottle... She has nutritional snacks instead.

About a week after my son turned one and the formula ran out.

Whilst the NHS site does advise that formula/breastmilk is the main source of nutrition under 12m, it does not even mention snacks.

It advises offering small varieties of different foods for exploration and taste. These dont have to be at exact mealtimes (though it's great to have little one sat with you at mealtimes with some foods).

At age 1 as advised
They had the odd drink of cows milk in a cup before that but the main drink was formula

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz Maybe that came from our NHS dietitian.

@Wednesday23 I wasn’t saying that would you should do just what I was told.
