14 month old leg rash

I posted the other day but at the time I suspected it was the new fabric softener. It’s still there though, and I’ve made sure to only dress him in clothes that have been washed using his normal products.

I sent the GP a photo, she asked a load of questions, and then when I asked what she thought it was she said “something viral” & that was that.

He’s totally fine in himself, eating, etc. No fever at any point so not overly concerned but I would like to hear if anyone else’s toddlers had this?

Mine have something very similar, I believe it's a reaction to something. Have you given any piriotin?

Yes my 15 month old keeps getting a rash but nothing else. Doctors not concerned. Said could be because of heat getting warner Hmm

@Crockof I haven’t given him anything as the GP didn’t suggest it but I’ve just looked that up and will probably give it a go, thank you.

@Takwxiab2 Odd, isn’t it. Thanks for the reply, reassuring to know it’s somewhat normal.

Piriton can really make a difference but be aware it can make them sleepy. If there is no change in rash or comfort then it's more likely to be viral. Piriotin can save a life so always worth keeping some in first aid box
