Toddler vomiting once

DD (22 months) threw up yesterday evening. It was a very small amount and there was no retching or anything, I actually didn’t even notice it happen, just saw it right after.
She was then fine, went to bed, is still asleep. Didn’t have a fever or any other symptoms.

Does this sound like it could be a bug? Or does the fact it was an easy, almost spit-up-like type of vomiting without any retching etc suggest something else? She’s never been sick before and barely ever had spit up so she’s not a sicky child.
She doesn’t have nursery today so it’s not a case of me thinking I might send her in or anything, I just have a severe phobia of vomiting and am now a bit panicked we’ll have a day of sickness from her, followed by DH and I catching it.

It sounds most likely that something she ate disagreed with her slightly. It doesn't sound like a bug. Or a super mild one if it is. My kids had a bug once which went round the family. The children were all sick just once and then better. The adults weren't sick at all.

Alternatively, does she have a cold? Sometimes they swallow a lot of mucus or saliva during a cold, causing them to be sick occasionally, often at night.

It literally could be anything! From a bug to phlegm in her nose/throat that’s found it’s way out. Or was she running/jumping a lot beforehand? My little one sometimes spews a bit if he’s eaten then starts bouncing all over place. Don’t forget kids have a very sensitive gag reflex so it could have been anything that triggers it.
See how she is otherwise, check for all usual bug indicators - fever, malaise, snottyness. If all good then I would carry on as normal.
