BABYZEN YOYO OR BUGABOO ANT?

hello!

Looking to get a small stroller (We already have a main buggy but it’s very big) that can fit in the car and is easy to bring up and down the stairs (we’re in a flat) when it’s just me and baby.

I’m torn between these two as I want something that we can take in holiday (if that ever happens again lol).

Babyzen is 390 usually but 360 at the moment as it’s online with a slight discount.

Bugaboo is normally 499 but is currently on sale on their website for 270-330?

This of course makes me want to go for the bugaboo (I also like like you have the option of the seat being front facing) but everyone seems to rave about the YOYO and i did give it a push once in mamas and papas and it did seem comfy to use?

Which one would you go for?? I just can’t bloody decide!!

Thank you!

I haven't tried the Ant but we have both the Babyzen Yoyo 2 and the Bugaboo Bee 6.

We used the yo-yo up until baby was 6 months and it was great. When we switched to pushchair mode the baby hated facing forward so we bought the Bugaboo Bee which as you say has that flexibility. We have kept the yo-yo for holidays and travelling because it is much more compact when folded, and much lighter. We plan to take it with us as cabin luggage when we travel (hopefully as soon as we are allowed)! I don't think the Bugaboo fits cabin restrictions but the yo-yo definitely does.

How old is your baby? I didn't really like to options for the yo-yo for newborn. The bassinet/ newborn pack didn't seem easily foldable so took away the convenience of being able to carry up and down the stairs in a flat. Now DD is 6 months I find it much better although I would have liked the option to have it parent facing.

I'm not impressed with the accessories with the yo-yo - the parasol is difficult to fit and position yet comes off easily.

Saying that, its a good lightweight buggy but by no means perfect!

Love the YoYo. Mine has done 2 children over 4 years, many many flights and is still going strong. I used to live in a 3rd floor walk up apartment, and fly long haul on my own with the baby fairly regularly and i honestly don’t think I could have managed without it!

Love my yoyo. Ant felt really flimsy is shop and a bit cheap tbh. Suspect Ant v2.0 will be better. Although the fact you can face seat either way was a big plus and it has a better recline. Yoyo fold is much nicer and feels sturdier

@ronswansonstache he’s 7 months old. everything I’ve read on line now about the ant seems to be that people are disappointed with it. The things that pulled me towards the ant is that it has a parent facing option and is they’ve also got 40 percent off their website at the moment so is more than 100 quid cheaper. 7 months still feels a bit young for him to be world-facing? Maybe that’s just me being mad tho... 7 months just still seems so young !

I have a baby who only contact naps/sleeps so I don’t know how it will go if there’s no parent facing option.

I have the bugaboo fox and sometimes I put the seat world facing but more often than not it’s parent facing
