Just started to use Swaddlebees AIOs on DS - they're great, no leakages, nice fit. Only problem - been using for 2 days and DS is getting quite bad nappy rash, so I've put him back in disposables for now so I can put Sudacrem on him. Am I doing something wrong? I am using them like disposables, but should I be changing after every wee to keep him dry? Any advice very welcome .

Yes, its for kids with fleece allergy really or parents who really want natural fibre next to the skin. So that they get a bit of the stay dry effect but it definitely doesn't stay quite as dry as the cotton hangs onto some wetness.

It passes through cotton, then fleece... so probably slower yes, and I not as dry as the cotton still stays wet like it would normally, just damp rather than sodden

It is damp to the touch, I thought that was normal.

This may have already been said but you may find that if he was back in disposables then he would still have nappy rash, it may just be coincidence that he is going through a stage of having the rash at the same time you changed. I only say this because I use cotton nappies only about 3/4 of the time, and disposables at other times. (lots of reasons such as laziness, behind with washing etc). If dd2 is going through a stage of having a rash, it seems to make no difference which nappies are against her bottom at the time. If anything the reusables with fleece liner and good old Sudocrem are kinder to her skin.

wow so my thinking was right - a good idea about the fleece not being in contact for fleece allergic botties though just a shame it makes my boy pee out the side of his. I want to sell it as ardly used but has a whoping stain in it - another downfall of ov.

Have just ordered some fleece liners, will see if that's better. Thanks for all your help .
