How do your children address your friends and/or parents of their friends? For instance: is it Sarah, Miss Sarah or Mrs. Smith?

Address nursery teachers as Mrs K....

Address my adult friends by their first names - Rebecca, Natalie...

first name generally

sometimes with Auntie / Uncle in front (especially if they have the same name as kids)

This is interesting. My friend and I were just discussing this today. When we were kids she lived down the road from me. Now we are both married and live on the same road albeit different from where we grew up, anyway thats another story.

We both have three kids of the same ages and they all call me by my first name but we were jokingly telling them today that they should call us Mrs..... as thats what we called each others parents when we were young.

TBH it would make me feel very old if they did. I still call all my mothers peers Mrs. Does that make sense. Probably not as I have been indulging tonight.

my children refer to my friends by their christian name, teachers by their preferred calling, and my sisters and their dh as Aunty/ Uncle.

Ds did go through a phase of wanting to call his grandad "Ken"

LOL Jampot!

My ds's sometimes refer to dh as Steve. Cos I'll shout up the stairs 'Steeeeeeve' and they copy me!! It sounds really wierd!
