Reflux only at night?

Just wondering if anyone has experienced similar. Have a 10 week old, breast fed mainly with a bottle of formula top up morning and night. Brings up milk a lot but mostly seems unbothered by it. But for the past week he seems to display reflux symptoms at night only-screaming/posseting, arching back and squirming etc, meaning very broken sleep. Is it possible to only suffer reflux at night? It makes no sense to me when he doesn't seem bothered in daytime, he naps lying flat quite happily in the day, the morning formula doesn't seem to cause issues-am I missing something blindingly obvious? Thanks

I think babies can suffer more at night with trapped wind, could it be that? Try doing some tummy massage and leg cycles throughout the night, see if you can get anything out.

Maybe-he has always been quite windy but I thought we were staying on top of it with infacol and burping but maybe we're not doing enough. Would he vomit more if he were lying down with wind? I do feel like he brings more up at night

You could try adding Dentinox to the bottles, keeping him upright fir half an hour after the bottle and propping up the top of his crib.

Have you tried swaddling and white noise as well?

I do have the crib tilted and we use white noise - he hates swaddling and wriggles out of any blankets! Some nights he sleeps better, about a 4 hour stretch, up for a feed, then another 2 hours-which makes me wonder if there's something causing it to be worse on certain nights?

Hi @Prussel
I combi-fed my first and I gave the formula in the middle of the day and not first thing or last thing as I had the same and the health visitor said especially at night if they're used to breast milk it can lay heavy
This seemed to work to give bottles during the day - might be worth a try

Good to know! Will try to move it earlier and see if it makes any difference, thanks
