I'm 11 weeks and since pretty much the day of getting my BFP ive been suffering with terrible nausea and anxiety. I'm emetophobic so I think the nausea makes the anxiety worse and vice versa. I've barely been able to eat and now when I do I either feel full really quickly or get hiccups for hours!!
Please please say the end is nigh for this awful stage...

I realise I've accidentally posted this in parenting and not pregnancy! Sorry!

I remember waiting f for the magic 12 weeks and feeling disappointed when I still felt like shit, but it did start to lift around that time. It gradually got better and by 14-16 weeks I was pretty much fine apart from food aversions that stayed with me throughout.

You're nearly over the worst!Flowers

Thank you Daffodil so even though it didn't go by 12 weeks it did start to ease slightly? x

Yes I think it did start to ease but it wasn't like flicking a switch - it was quite gradual. I can say with some confidence that by 16 weeks I generally felt great because I remember going to a conference and bring excited about the buffet!

CreosoteQueen · 16/03/2021 04:27

Oh you poor thing. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks things will start to improve Flowers

16 weeks seemed to be the turning point for me too

I think weeks 10-12 were the worst for me. I was rarely sick, but constantly felt on the edge of it. It all went away aboutv16 weeks and I felt great from then on.

By 16 weeks were you able to eat fairly normally again? I'm 11 weeks and I've felt terrible since I found out. I've had days on end in bed. Same as you I always feel on the edge of it x
