Little Lamb Reusable Nappies - Sizing Up

Hello 👋🏼

If you used Little Lamb fitteds with wraps, when did you need to move from size 1 to size 2?

Interested in knowing the level of variation! Someone sold us their size 1s after their son grew out of them at 2.5 months?!

We use tots bots bamboozle with wrap overnight. We bought size 1 and 2. I think next time I would have just bought size 2. He outgrew size 1 about 2.5/3 months as well. He’s not huge either, on around 50% percentile

My dd was in size 1s until about a year (very slim and small for her age) my ds moved into the size 2s at about 7 months

Thanks both! We have quite a lot of size 1s as we bought some bundles, now I'm thinking this was a mistake!

At least we can sell them on I suppose.

Can you let me know if you sized up due to leaks, or did the size 1s just not close over baby's belly anymore?

@CheshireeeCattt - sized up as they just didn’t seem to fit. So size 1 to 2/3 months, then they just seemed way too tight on stomach. Now though, he’s 10.5 months and the size 2 now have plenty of space and dont seem as tight as they were a few months ago, so I think he must have had a podgier belly 0-6 months or something.

I would just use what you have size one wise as long as you can as you have them, and change when you actually think they need changing. It’s different for every baby.

I don’t really regret buying the smaller sizes tbh, he looked so cute in the tiny teenyfit and size ones when tiny. And I have washed, they look as new still and put away incase of future baby. If we don’t have, il just sell them a few years down the line or donate somewhere

True, I think I'm overthinking it a bit! We have a few size 2 and some pockets, so if we need to stop using size 1s earlier then we can do, I just hoped size 1s might last a big longer than this lady experienced!

Nevermind, they are adorable and at least they have some value in them after use, unlike disposables.

I moved ds into size 2 purely because I only had 5 size 1s as I was using small sandy and size 1 little lambs. The small sandy were never a great fit on ds. If I had more size 1 little lambs he would have stayed in them for longer I think as at 15 months I'm still having to do the size 2s as tight as possible on him.
Hope that makes sense
