Where do you sell your cloth nappies now nappylady has closed down their ads?

Have a few things I want to sell before we move house and not sure where best to list them (other than on here which I'd prefer to avoid as the for sale board is so busy).
Are there other nappy sites for selling used nappies you have tried?
TIA

Agree - if they are expensive new, which they are - there is no reason to give them away for silly money as they do mean a huge saving for the user when compared to disposables and they are designed to be used for more than one child.

Just to let you sellers know - I keep looking on all the UK used nappy sites for cloth nappies and have bought some from Mumsnet and usednappies.co.uk (bidding and 'buy it now'). Problem is I am having my first baby (so no experience of using the different types and brands) and have no idea what size/physique baby will be yet and so what will suit and work well. This all makes it difficult to justify spending a lot before the birth, but I am out there and I presume other buyers are in a similar situation. I will definitely be buying more once baby arrives!

you can sell them at NCT sales.

I quite agree if a nappy is bought for say £9 and barely used then its quite reasonable to ask for a decent ammount (but I suppose we've all got differing ideas as to what that is ) but, I for one would not be prepared to pay more than half price for a nappy when you havent physically seen it. I would prefer to buy new (after all what would happen to people like Flame, they have to earn a living too )

I think the trouble is that I feel I was conned a bit when I bought second hand a while back as the nappies (IMO) were used far more than I was expecting them to be.. maybe I was just unlucky.. but what can you do.. shut up or try and flog them on ....

I've roughly calculated that if I sell them all at £3, after taking £30 refund from the council, using cloth will have only cost me about £80 (for one child) . I'm happy with that, but I do realise that I'm in a very financially stable position, and the motivation to save or make money would not have been my reason for choosing cloth over disposables.

Just wanted to let you all know that there is a new auction site www.wahm.co.uk - they are general auctions, including used nappies. They do have listing fees, but much much less than ebay.

hi
sorry if this is a silly question, but why aren't Ebay allowing nappy sales?
