Could this be a bug?

My dd is 13 months and she was fine all day yesterday until we gave her, her dinner she would only eat a few spoonfuls (not like her) and then she just refused. So we got her out of her highchair and she screamed if we put her down to play with her toys and she just wanted cuddles which was unlike her as she prefers to be playing on the floor. We then gave her a bottle and after we put her in her cot she threw up everywhere. After we got her changed she cried if she was put down. In the end she went to sleep but she woke up at about 5 crying and she had a fever so I gave her calpol and she did seem ok but she's still refusing to eat and if we put her down she cries until we pick her back up

What could this be?

It's probably just a bug but you should isolate and get her tested for Covid obviously

She could be teething? I don't think there's any need to put her through testing for covid at this point. Try ibuprofen instead of Calpol it's stronger if it is her teeth

My son was like this when he had an ear infection.

Could be a viral infection? DS just had a temp, then came out in a rash a day later all over his back and front. Dr said he had swollen glands and red throat. But didn't need anything but Calpol and rest. He didn't throw up though.

DS had the same just over a week ago really unusual for him not to eat, was sick a few times and then had a very high temp followed by a rash all over. Doctors say it was viral but got a test just in case which came back negative. Of course, if you're worried then you should get bubba checked over.
