Clipon high chair seats

Hi all, my daughter has never settled in her highchair she doesn't like to feel restricted. She uses a booster seat on a chair at the childminders and seems to do well. I don't have that option as I have a breakfast bar with stools. I did see a clip on highchair seat though which doesn't attach to a seat it looks like it's floating. Has anyone had any experience of these or recommendations.

I once saw one brawl through a table top, so I didn’t get one. I also had a breakfast bar, so I ended up with a bonkers expensive m&p high chair on a hydraulic lift to make it high enough.

What's 'brawl through a table'?
I can't work it out.

I had them for my older DDs, now young adults and had no safety issues at all, however, I don't think they're as common these days and I assumed they're considered unsafe although I don't know why.

I have a cosatto grubs up. It’s brilliant and I love it, as does baby as she gets to feel like really part of the family at meal time. She hated her high chair because she wasn’t “with us” at the table. I’ve used it on a friend’s breakfast bar when I’ve gone for lunch and it worked perfectly.

Sorry, “break through a table top”.

We had one and liked it for travelling to others houses and restaurants. But I'd say they're more restrictive than a normal highchair.
