Nappies in a washer/dryer

Just ordered some Swaddlebees AIOs - does anyone know whether I'll be able to dry them safely in a washer/dryer? I'm told to dry them on a low heat, but a washer/dryer doesn't have a temperature gauge for the dryer.

TIA

I used to do them in a washer dryer, but I think mine may have had a low/high setting...

Mine has settings for how dry you want the washing, which might be the same thing as a temperature setting. Perhaps I'll just try with one first to see whether it's OK.

pmsl @ settings for how dry you want the washing!! I have visions on a knob with "bone dry/fairly crisp/a bit soggy/plain damp"

SuperMonkey · 03/11/2007 13:49

The dial has pictures of a sun, a wardrobe and an ironing board - very helpful!

my dryer has those options flame. feckin gimmick iyam. 'oh yes, ill just have them a little damp please'NO. i want them DRY. derrrr

FlameFromBonfire · 03/11/2007 13:57

I have no idea what each of those settings would mean though tbh.

I would say that the sun is the lowest heat setting?

SuperMonkey · 03/11/2007 14:03

No I think it's the other way round Flame - iron is slightly damp, ie ready to be ironed, wardrobe is ready to go in the wardrobe, sun is as though dried on a line, ie very dry.

oh i think the actual options are differently named or marked, but theres def a slightly damp, ready for ironing one.
who the hell is organised enough to iron stuff right out of the dryer? or to set a timer fgs, so that it ends right when they have an allocated slot for ironing?

my brain is catatonic just thinking about that level of organisation applied to mundane stuff. think truly organised housewife sorts should get nobel prizes coz that stuff day in day out forever for little or no thinaks or recognition?? not my bag baby.

FlameFromBonfire · 03/11/2007 14:56

Ah, see I was thinking that the iron one was "ridiculously dry and creased and in need of ironing"

SuperMonkey · 03/11/2007 14:58

Now that would make sense!
