I can't quite believe it but I've found out today I'm pregnant again approximately 5 weeks!
This will be my 4th baby. I have a 13yo, 9yo and the scary part is...a 12 week old.
This means the baby will be due before my youngest is 1.
I'm sure loads of you have been in this situation and I'm just hoping someone can give me abit of support and advice.
So many things running around my head at the minute. We haven't told the children yet but I know they will be absolutely fine and excited.
Me and my husband both work from home so I'd have lots of help and he's absolutely ecstatic about it but I'm really worried.
I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason so I'm just going with that at the minute.
Just need some reassurance I think that everything will be ok.
To also add I'm not breastfeeding and we have 4 bedrooms and financially we are fine (we'd just need a bigger car) it's more the emotional and logistic side of things I'm worried about.

TIA xxx

My son was born when my daughter was 13.5 months. I was feeling the same as you when I found out but it has 100% been the best thing. My son is now 9 months and my daughter 2 in March. It's hectic, crazy and demanding but you adjust so easily and life quickly feels normal having such a small gap. They are already becoming the best of friends. The best advice I can give is be as organised as possible but don't stress when things don't go to plan, expect things to change regularly when you manage but remember as they hit each milestone you will adapt.

Mine are 11.5 months apart. Now aged 2 and 3.

It’s been pretty insane but they are so close and entertain each other a lot! Things are getting a bit easier now they’re both talking and can play together. In some ways it helps reduce sibling rivalry because DS probably doesn’t remember a time before DD was here... the hardest bits were having 2 potty training / being up and down with sleep etc at the same time, and the first year was also a faff with all the paraphernalia we had to take when going out.

Overall though it’s been great and I wouldn’t change it- they’ve got such a lovely bond Smile
