Double buggies

Hi, I would be really grateful for some advice re double buggies. My dd1 will be 2.5 years when my dd 2 is born, she's 2 and 3 months now. She's a great walker but still naps in her pram and does ask to go into her pram occasionally when walking. So I definitely want a double buggy. I've looked at the icandy orange but just wondering how small are the seats, would she outgrow it quite soon? I also like the look of the mountain buggy duet but again worried the seat will be too small. These two stand out as I want a pram I can fit fairly easily fit through a standard door.

I had the MB duet. DC1 napped till he was quite old and was totally comfortable in the seat sleeping till about 3.5. It didn't seem small at all.

The Duet was great for us. It fits on all buses and through most single doorways.

I have the Joie one. Cheap and cheerful

I foster and have a MB Duet, it has been great for a range of ages. I walk lots with the dog and it has been great for that too, it is easy to push on the beach and on a variety of footpaths, it also fits easily through shop doorways. The only thing I would say is if you are going to use it off road, put some puncture resistant tape in the tyres.

I had a side by side graco, was fine but tricky through doors. Dd1 wasn't happy when I decided she was too old at 4 and ended up climbing into the single pushchair (mamas and papas) with her dsis, which actually was fine by that age. 2&4

Thanks everyone. I don't really want to spend a fortune but just want both to be comfortable. Also like the idea that they both can be singles if wanted.

Another vote for the MB Duet. My son was about the same age as your eldest when his sister was born and I loved the Duet. I started with the bassinet attachment for the newborn, which I think converts into a rear facing seat afterwards until baby is ready to face forwards beside her sibling. It's lovely to push and manoeuver. I didn't like the way it looked when converted to a single with a shopping basket thing on the side, so when eldest turned 5 I traded the Duet for a used MB Urban Jungle, which I also love.
