Basically, as titled. What age did you put your LO in nursery?

What did you feel they learnt/the main benefit to them is/was going to nursery?

And is anyone looking at nursery's or has sent a child to nursery during the pandemic?

All stories and advice appreciated. Thank you x

13.5 months, during pandemic. I literally dreaded it but it’s been brilliant-DD loves it. She settled so quickly.
She does loads of activities, messy play etc and she really enjoys the other children and adores the staff.
I had to go back to work so no choice but we have found a fantastic setting and we’re very happy with it. We originally wanted a childminder but couldn’t find one (live rurally and there wasn’t anyone taking babies) but really love our nursery.

DD1, age 4 and then deferred entry to school so she was at nursery aged 5. School at 6.

DD2 just the standard ante-pre at 3 followed by the preschool year at 4 then school at 5.

DS went just before he turned 3. DD will be 3.5.

I dont judge in anyway putting them in younger and I know lots of parents don't have a choice but I was fortunate to be a SAHM and have them at home

My baby is 7 and a half months and has just started nursery- he will be going 2 days a week. My boyfriend works there which is why he will be going, so that I get a bit of a break and to do household jobs, but also so he actually gets some interaction and stimulation from other children during this lockdown. I felt guilty him being stuck with me all day. I probably wouldn’t have sent him if my partner didn’t work there but it’s so convenient and we get a good discount and is so beneficial to his development. He loves it there!!
