Just found the new breathable wraps from Totsbots here plus they have new patterns for the fleece wraps too. Must exercise self control!!

THey are super cool. I will be willing dd to grow out of her motherease ones!

I have been toying with the idea of a fleece wrap for ages. I use Motherease wraps - I have some new designs and I have a very nice cutie patootie to be really posh. Do I need a fleece wrap? Should I get the redrap for night time?

Hi MrsD

I got 2 redraps for ds when he was in size 2 Tots and they were great at night time in the summer, but they did smell the next day. Ds seems to have pretty toxic wee anyway, but because the redraps wick away the moisture, his PJs would smell a bit too. If i could have afforded it I would have had enough for one every night or I guess I could have washed more often. I still really like them, but they're too nice to be hidden under clothes - so maybe better in the summer?

Is it just me or do the woolen ones just sound like way too much hard work?

misdee · 28/10/2004 15:23

we wouldnt be able to use the wool wraps as dd1 is allergic to lanolin, and daret risk it with other kids of mine.

i do have the polka bots wrap, works well for night time and when dd2 is wearing just a skirt with no tights, but if we do go out and she is sitting for along period ot has tight trousers on then we do get some damp spots appearing.
