Grow/sleep bag assistance

Hi ladies.
DS currently sleeps in a sleep bag with his arms out and he does really well with it.
However, he's got cradle cap all over his forehead and he has a habit of furiously rubbing his face in his sleep, so he's rubbing his forehead and making it sore.
So my question is, is there a grow bag that I can put his arms in that will stop him rubbing his face?
I don't want to swaddle him like a sausage roll but a sleep bag that we can zip him in that also includes his arms.
I have seen them on line but I want a recommendation as I don't want to buy one that puts his arms in but he can still reach his face.
TIA

How old is he? Is he rolling? If hes rolling you really need his arms out so he can push himself out of the position if he needs too. There are Love To Dream swaddles that sort of hold their arms up in a natural sleeping position for babies. My DS loved it when he was younger.

I think id focus on dealing with the cradle cap though. What have you tried? If you solve that, then the problem goes away!

I can't comment on the sleep bag, both my DS and DD used them with their arms out. I agree with @Letsallscreamatthesistene to would focus on the cradle cap. My DD had it very badly as a baby and started having eczema on her face. The Dr prescribed an antifungal cream for her cradle cap which cleared it up completely and stopped the eczema. It might be worth speaking to your Dr and see what they could recommend.

@Letsallscreamatthesistene @MimiRai He's 4 months next week and we've tried everything over the last 2 months. The GP finally looked at his head the other day (what a battle that was!) and we have been prescribed anti fungal cream. Picked it up today and started using it.
How long does it take to clear it up?
We haven't put it on his head as it's not that bad, but his forehead is covered and it's pretty brutal! It's spread onto his eyebrows and it covers his whole forehead! Poor lil thing!

I can't remember how long it took to clear probably a couple of months, DD is 3 now. Your poor DS, it would be worth doing his head at the same time to have him completely clear of it.

Thank you @MimiRai. It's not that bad on his head so will focus on his forehead and then go to his head if needed.
If the cradle cap takes a while to clear then it's defo worth getting a sleep back that keeps his arms in and away from his head

My baby has had awful cradle cap for the past month or so, she has a lot of thick curly hair but it’s been bothering her. I was trying coconut oil/olive oil as advised with not much luck. This week we’ve tried baby oil and it’s been amazing. I just rub it in and everything comes loose then I can brush it straight out. I don’t know why it’s worked so much better than the other oils and so quickly but it’s nearly all cleared in the space of about 4 days!

Hi @Sls668 we tried baby oil but just inflamed his skin. Same with coconut oil.
Olive oil was fine but the cradle cap is back within 24 hours of brushing it off. I just think he's got a bad case of it 😢
We have a love to dream swaddle now. It was delivered today so praying that works when we put him to bed later 🙏🏻🤞

Keep going with the olive oil and the anti fungal medicine you have. Cradle cap comes back, it rarely goes away with one try. It took about 4 months for it to go away with my DS, but it would take longer and longer to come back each time until it just stayed away.

Thank you @Letsallscreamatthesistene it's already been two months, so hoping it won't be there much longer! 🤞
