Hiya,

My little girl is 2 1/2 months (10 weeks old) and teething

Bought some bonjela after reading online it's suitable from 2mo the plus, to then read the leaflet enclosed which says 6 months! They've updated the leaflets to say 6 months but not online😩

If there anything I can give her? I've tried teething rings etc but she doesn't like them much at the moment as they're too big to put in her mouth comfortably

I used the Nelson teething granules. Just pop them on a baby spoon.

None of these gels/ granules do too much imo! Can do calpol (ibuprofen best for teething) if you think she’s in a lot of pain, but in a baby that young I’d be cautious. Are you sure it’s teething?

By the looks of it teetha is the one that has the lowest age in it. So may have to try that.

Yes definitely teething, I asked nurse at her 8 week jabs to have a look for me and she said teething. Just had little one in a huge uncontrollable crying state with tears, pulling at ears, red cheeks and trying to eat me alive bless her. Had to give her calpol in the end which has kicked in and now finally sleeping after exhausting herself☹️

My DD started early too, around 8 weeks and calpol was the only pain relief I could find that was suitable for her age. I have used the Ashton and Parsons powders too but I think from about 12weeks. Her teether was too big for her little mouth at first so we let her chomp on our fingers or a muslin cloth. The teeth didn't actually cut through until about 15 weeks though I think.
