Is your DH an nhs/essential worker?

My partner works in the nhs and is very hands on when it comes to Covid. I’m very scared everyday that he might bring it home. I have a four month old and the thought of her getting it is too much to bear.

Is anyone else in the same situation? How do you handle things day to day? What helps your anxiety? Thank you :) x

Both my husband and I are key workers however I am on mat leave currently. Like you I'm worried about exposure to Covid and him brining it home especially around a DS who's only 11 weeks. He's due his second lot of injections in the next 2 weeks although doesn't protect from Covid but other diseases.

It's interesting that I was concerned that it would be my husband who would bring it home as he works in a hospital. However it was my mother (who lives with us). Who uses public transport and is very cautious about hygiene was the one who become positive and subsequently my husband caught it too. ( this happened over the Christmas period)

My DP is a paramedic. We have a 1 year old.

We all got covid over Christmas. DS didn't show a single symptom. Please try not to worry.

Thank you for this. It’s such a scary time and I feel it’s inevitable that we will get it I just hope she doesn’t get symptoms!
