Baby wont stop crying!!!!

I have a beautiful 3 week old boy and I love him so much but oh my god I am at the end of my tether. He does not stop crying all day! He won't sleep at all in the day unless I rock him for hours or drive in the car. Today even the rocking didnt help him so currently sat in the car praying he doesnt wake up.

I dont know what to do anymore. I am a 1st time mum and I just hate my life right now, I dont want to be a mum anymore but obviously I have to be. He is also sick about 4 or 5 times after each feed, the DR gave me Gaviscon but I havent noticed a difference. I am sure something else is wrong, he has a rash and just seems miserable! I am exclusively breast feeding at the moment but dont know if I can carry on. He wants to feed all day as I think it soothes him but then that seems to make him more unhappy sometimes.

Did anyone have a similar experience or does anyone know when this will end??? I cant go on like this anymore. I am so tired and my back is in bits from rocking him all day. I had him by emergency c section so I shouldn't even be driving or walking round holding him so much but I have no choice. I cant eat or shower all day and the house is a shit hole, I hate it!!!

Anything with milk obviously but also look out for whey powder. Things such as pate, some cooked meats, biscuits, bought cakes most curries unfortunately the list is endless.
Soya is in most bread products.
Jackson’s bread is soya free, applewood Vegan cheese is the best one. Asda do the best vegan ice cream.

Milk and soya should be in bold on the ingredients. Soya lecithin is ok

My baby was exactly the same and he was CMPA. I was breastfeeding so removed all milk/soya from my diet. I was told that it could take up to a month to see a markable difference (but hopefully earlier) so if you don’t see a quick improvement don’t be disheartened. It takes a while for the dairy to clear out your system and his so just stick with it.

This happened to me, I took my baby to a cranial osteopath and it seemed to help.

I also got a standard stretchy sling from eBay which was super helpful as baby hated lying down/being put down. I recommend it as the baby is really close to you and it calms them. They look complicated but are not and you can just watch a YouTube video and quickly get the hang of it.

We elevated one end of the crib.

We tried gaviscon. Variable success.

I found cutting out citrus and adding ginger to my diet helped (the ginger is an old phillipino wives tale and my family swear by it).

Several friends had this and it turned out to be a lactose intolerance.

Finally, be kind to yourself, if you are all alive for the first 6 weeks then you are doing brilliantly. You don’t need to achieve any more than that and I promise it will be get better.

Like this (if the link works) if your baby is sleeping in the car seat, they might not like lying down so snoozing in the sling is the next best thing. Any sleep stops them getting grouchy and over tired.

Thank you for all your messages and advice! I have a baby carrier now which is great, I can do my makeup and some housework finally!!!
Gaviscon did absolutely nothing so calling the Dr again tomorrow.

I think im 5 days dairy free but not noticed an improvement yet! How long does it normally take?

I wonder if its colic but I just think that's such a broad term for a wide range of problems that baby can have xx
