Reusable nappy for nighttime - do you use a liner?

I can see there are lots of knowledgeable cloth nappy users on here so I'm hoping someone can help...

We use cloth in the day but have put off using at night as our LO still sometimes poops at night (on solids). There's no sign of this letting up, so I was wondering if you ever use a flushable liner with a nighttime cloth nappy? Would it irritate their skin too much?

Thanks!

We use reusable liners during the day and night. They’re made of fleecy material and have not caused any irritation over the last 9 months (our little one often poops at night). If your LO is pooping solids they are really easy to use as the poop just slides off it into the toilet (it’s a bit trickier when they produce sloppier poops though)

I’ve not had any experience with disposable liners though

We just use the fleece day and night. The ‘flushable’ ones aren’t really flushable btw, try putting one in the washing machine and you will see it comes out whole so will be floating around pipes somewhere

We had a mix when DD was small - I used to use the "flushable" ones a lot for catching the poop (I actually used to pop off the poop into the loo and bin the liner like a ST), but often added the fleece one to add absorbancy (DD was able to get her nappies very wet!).
